Our Plan for Sunday, March 29 Sermon Series: Embracing Paradoxical Tensions Sunday’s Message: Meaningless Significance IF YOU ARE ABLE TO WATCH LIVE ON FACEBOOK … Doug plans to broadcast live at 10:30 EST. If you check in earlier you should see this logo and date (logo shown left). Pastor will take communion at the end. If you are comfortable participating in a virtual communion service, have your items ready.
In an effort to ensure the safety, health and well-being of our church family and the community we are a part of, Hunterdon Christian Church will not hold worship services - Sunday, March 22nd, 29th or Wednesday nights until further notice.
This decision, in part, reflects the reality that many from our congregation are people over 60 years old and represent the highest “at-risk” group to exposure from COVID-19, also known as Coronavirus, and that the risk of transmission is increased in close-proximity contact. We are receiving guidance from federal, state, and local public health agencies, and we will continue to monitor the development of this situation on a week-to-week basis.
In the meantime, please remember that the church is not simply a Sunday gathering, but is the body of Christ. So, continue to love your neighbors by checking on their welfare, providing for their needs, and praying with and for each other. God bless you.
Pastor Doug McCulley is planning to have sermons/lessons available on-line and plans to broadcast live Sunday morning, most likely through Facebook. If you are not already connected to our FB page, please consider doing so. Doug is also looking into posting his sermon on YouTube.
Feel free to email/text Pastor Doug anytime for prayer concerns or info: email@example.com or (908) 377-3655. Teresa will be checking email and phone messages regularly: firstname.lastname@example.org or (908) 788-1798.
